Another Award

 

I’m flabbergasted.  Do people still use the word flabbergasted?  It sounds old-fashioned. I thought about using  “I’m floored,” but it seems extreme, even though a “Blog of the Year” award seems far away from my level.

What I am really saying is I honestly didn’t think I qualified for any more awards, as if I know how many are out there and how one gains merits to earn them, which I don’t.

I blog not even part time, but in very minuscule spare time blocs, which probably explains my ignorance about blog awards.  I envy you guys who spend 5-9 hours a day at the keyboard or on sophisticated i-devices. Really.

But ok, I pinched myself and double-checked, and it is for real. What a nice foretaste of Thanksgiving!  I am thrilled to be thankful for a lot of things- Life, God’s Love, family, a job, good health and friends.
