An Aquinian Pause

I must pause to honor mine and the Patron of Ponder Anew,

St Thomas Aquinas.

First, a moment of silence for the destruction of the unborn and all attacks on human life, a direct contradiction  of God’s divine law written on our heart, aka eternal law and natural law.

Lord Jesus, please forgive the sins of our nation and heal our land.  For the sake of Your sorrowful passion, have mercy on us.

O Angelic Doctor, pray that we acquire the humility to ADMIT our need for God. May we BELIEVE in God’s Son Jesus, and CONFESS the sin and disgrace against Jesus’ Sacred Heart by calling good evil, and evil good. May all nations develop a fear of the Lord again- the beginning of wisdom, from which we do good and avoid evil.

We ask through Jesus Christ our Lord, Amen.
