Psalm 107:33-43 (NAB) sets the stage for a miraculous God:
“God changed rivers into desert, springs of water into thirsty ground,
Fruitful land into a salty waste because of the wickedness
of its people.
He changed the desert into pools of water, and land into springs of
water. And settled the hungry there; they built a city to live in.
They sowed fields and planted vineyards, brought in an abundant harvest. God blessed them, they became very many; and their livestock did not decrease.
But He poured out contempt on princes, made them wander the trackless wastes, Where they were diminished and brought low through misery and cruel oppression.
While the poor were released from their affliction; their families increased like their flocks.
The upright see this and rejoice, all wickedness shut its
mouth.”
Finally, the clincher, verse 43: “Who is wise will take note of these things.”
Thank you for sharing a wonderful verse of scripture with us, Kassey.
This verse reminds me of today’s Israel:
“They sowed fields and planted vineyards, brought in an abundant harvest. God blessed them, they became very many; and their livestock did not decrease.”
I hope you have a blessed day and may peace be with you, too.
